1947 - 2014
After a long and brave battle against cancer, Linda peacefully passed away June 15th with family at her bedside.
Linda was born September 24th, 1947 in Sacramento, Ca.. She lived most of her adult life in Springfield. She was proceeded in death by her husband William in 2002. She is survived by her daughter Kimberly Ahern, her son-in-law Rob Ahern, two stepsons Rob and Al Freytag, and their families including her granddaughters Melissa, Tiffany, Dana, and Brittni.
Linda will always be remembered by her family and friends for her truly amazing generosity and spirit. She thought only of others until the end and is an inspiration too all who were blessed enough to know her. Linda loved her family, friends, animals of all kinds, and was a passionate fan of professional tennis.
