Mary Nadine was the only child of John R Snellstrom, former Legislator and Mary E Hilton Snellstrom. She was the spouse of Thomas A Balzhiser, local Architect, and is survived by her 2 children, Lisa Fieber and Ric Todd. She was an avid gardener and very interested in Genealogy. She was a Camp Fire Girl leader and a Cub Scout troop leader. She was extremely generous, when at business meetings where lunches were served, she would pack up 'doggy' bags and hand them out on street corners as she drove past. She volunteered for the Sacred Heart hospital Guild for many years as well as working for the United Methodist food pantry. No one was ever a stranger for long, she was very welcoming and generous. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Celebration of Life pending. In lieu of flowers please make donations on her behalf to Hearts for Hospice in Springfield, OR.

Mary was a very kind person, and I was the recipient of her kindness many times through the years! I can hear her say..."Say" ....when she was going to give you information she would always start her sentence that way...What a doll, what a treasure ...she is missed.
