We are so sorry to hear the news of Dr. Eustis' passing. My girls loved their doctor and are very sad. We went to an after hours clinic recenlty and my girls were critical about everything. "the fish aren't the same, no gum, no stickers, puzzle on the wall, and no Dr. Eustis to make them feel better. From the day they were born we have always entrusted our girls to Dr. Eustis' care. We are so full of grief that I think of him and his family daily. The world has lost such an amazing, gifted man. RIP Dr. Eustis and God Bless his family.

Mike was not only our Pediatrician for nearly 20 years, he was our friend. Our youngest (of 4) is 19 and the last Dr. he has been to is Mike. They all wanted to hang on to him as long as possible, even when their 6'5" frames hung off the end of the tables in the rooms!
I work at the hospital and would run into Mike, he would always sincerely ask about my family.
Mothers are selective about people when it comes to their children,Mike was part of my village. I told Mike that he was on more than one occasion and he would humbly brush it off. He was there for us in the tough times, and celebrated with us during victories.
He never was judgmental, and his care and caring for us unconditional. He was professional in a kind, caring, (I'm gonna pull up this stool and sit and chat with you) kind of way.
We know that he felt honored to take care of all of his patients, but, we were the ones that were honored and blessed to have him in our lives.
He will be deeply missed.
To his children, the service was beautiful and honored him well. You (and all who loved him) will be in our prayers as you continue the legacy of your Dad.
Grateful.Honored.Blessed.

To all those that knew Dr Eustis, we are truly saddened by this tragedy! Thoughts & prayers to his wife & children, all his patients- from
Infant to adults & his friends & coworkers. If all pediatricians cared as much as he did, finding a replacement Dr would be much easier! My chilldren are devastated & stated they do not want a new Dr & that no one can take his place! May all the Drs who are taking over Dr Eustis's patients be as gentle, caring, loving & kind. We love u Dr Eustis! May everyone find closure, & know that there may never be answers to why this happened. But lets cherish the precious time we all had with him. All of our lives are truly better for having the privilege of knowing this great man! Rest in Peace Dr Eustis.

It's hard to believe. My condolences to his family. Dr. Eustis was my doctor since I was little. I'm twenty two now, but he always treated me warmly, like a father. One of my earliest memories is him pinching my cheeks and saying, "Yep." Even when I grew up he still did that to cheer me up. His kind manner always made up for the fact that I was sick. It's just so hard to believe.

Dr. Michael Eustis cared for my daughter Madeleine for many years. His gentle mindful approach in dealing with her and us made a visit to the doctor something pleasant instead of stressful. We gladly trusted the health of our daughter this kind, intelligent and capable man. This community has lost a valuable member. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to his family.

I just heard of the passing of Dr. Eustis. To say I'm sad is a understatement. He started caring for my youngest son when he was 3 yrs old( he is now 20 yrs old). Dr. Eustis saved his life one day when my son was having a serious asthma attack. I drove my son in from Oakridge(mind you I should of called an ambulance, but did not)..got my son to the clinic and the Doctor looked at him and "right back to a room we went"..he was given a breathing treatment ASAP, medications..was very close to calling an ambulance to the office, but soon my son was doing better and I have NEVER forgotten that. We moved away for a few years, and first thing I did when we got back to Oakridge was call and make sure my son see Dr. Eustis again. Gosh broken bones, sprains, TONS of sinus infections..the list goes on. and he was always so kind, so VERY kind..LOVED him..he took care od kids as if each one was his own child. So sad for his families loss. He is in a special place in heaven with truly GREAT doctors that really CARED for their patients...RIP and hope you get a cartoon band-aid too....xoxo

Our family was so saddened to hear about the sudden loss of Dr. Eustis. He has been the Pediatrician to our three children for 15 years. When I was pregnant with my first child who is now a sophomore in High School I took great care in selecting who we wanted as our Doctor. After meeting a few other Doctors I met Michael and instantly knew he was our Doctor!!! He was there to greet each one of them at the Hospital the day they were born. When my first child was born he had Jaundice and ended up having colic as well, he was there to help offer advice and constant caring to support us. There is no way I could have gotten through it without all the love he showed our family. We all loved him and the kids always looked forward to seeing him even if they knew in advance they had to get shots that day! They always said “Mom Dr. Eustis is the nicest Doctor ever and he always lets us pick our stickers and plus gives us gum”!!! He had such a wonderful personality and connection with all children and we will forever remember him and be grateful for the time we had with him! I pray for his family's loss during this difficult time! We love you Doctor Eustis and you will be greatly missed!

As sometimes residents of Eugene, Dr. Eustis provided our kids a continuity of care that gave us comfort at our home away from home. He was so supportive of breast feeding and a champion of mothers. He loved his family and spoke of them with pride. I am so sorry.

I was very saddened to learn of the death of Dr. Michael Eustis. He was the pediatrician for my youngest two children for their entire lives; in fact, my youngest is now 21 and saw Dr. Eustis just a few months ago. Dr. Eustis was kind, compassionate and so knowledgeable. This community has lost a very special man. My condolences to his children. I hope the knowledge that your father contributed so much to so many lives is of comfort to you.

We are so very saddened by this news. Dr Eustis was there 19 years ago when our Son was born. He diagnosed our Son with Heart issues. He saved his life by getting him on the correct medication and sent to Doernbechers. We will forever be greatful for his quick action. Our Son had just seen Dr. Eustis at the end of September and informed me he was never changing Doctors. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his Children and family. Love & God Bless to all Shauna

As so many others have said, Dr. Eustis was my kids Doctor, and he was the best! He was there right after all of them were born, he checked them, kept them healthy and always, always, always was kind, compassionate and caring. We have had to move and get a "new" Dr. but Dr. Eustis will forever be my kids "real" Dr. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be missed so very much.

Dr. Eustis was my children's doctor for the last 18 years. My oldest is 17 and she was upset this summer when I told her she would need a new doctor next year. He was always kind, caring, knowledgable Doctor. I am sure he saved both my children's lives more than a few times. Both my daughters were so comfortable with him. When they were both born, he came to the hospital within hours of there births. My youngest was born at 12:56 in the morning and he was there when there was problems. Amazing! I am deeply saddened and my thoughts and prayers are with his mom and his children.

Dr. Eustis was my primary care doctor when I was little. I remember at the age of five going into see him, never once did I see going to the doctors, as scary. So nineteen years later when I had my child I didn't hesitate to ask Dr. Eustis, if he would be my pediatrician. He would always greet me with a smile and a least once during the visit he would tell me a neat fact about baby shampoo or what to do to get rid of cradle cap, which being a first time parent, I had never heard of before. Being able to pass down the knowledge that he gave to me is a wonderful feeling. He will be missed greatly.

Dr Eustis was our pediatrician for all 3 of our children. He was always so kind and caring. My kids loved him and never feared going to the doctor.
When our youngest was discharged from the NICU Dr. Eustis called us at home to see how we were. I could hear his own children in the background and realized he was calling from home on his day off.
He will be greatly missed by our entire family.

Dr. Eustis was never just my sons, Dakota (20) and Garrett (16) doctor. He was our friend. It didn't matter if we ran into him at the store, movie theater or were in for an appt he always greeted us with a smile and by our first names.
I will be forever grateful for the 20 years of loving care he provided for my boys.
Our hearts go out to his family during this very trying time. You will be in our constant thoughts and prayers.
