Norm Vierling of Eugene went to be with our Lord and Savior on December 12, 2020 from complications of the heart.
Norm was born December 31, 1956 in Springfield, Oregon. His parents were Ed and June Vierling.He graduated from South Eugene High School and went to Lane Community College and got a degree in auto mechanics. He worked for Ideal Steel and started his own business, in Total Home Carpet Care.
Norm enjoyed all outdoor activities like snowmobiling, boating, camping, fishing and four-wheeling in the dunes. He did this with family and his best friends Jim and Amber Husk. He enjoyed going to Cabo and fishing for Marlin and Dorado. Norm enjoyed reading his daily newspaper but most of all Norm loved working on cars and going to the Oregon Duck games, no matter how far away.
Norm is preceded in death by his Father and Mother; Ed and June Vierling. He is survived by his brother Lynn Vierling (Lynn Kay) of Rathdrum, Idaho, Sister Rose Woodford (Bill)of Superior, Montana, his sister Beth Vierling (Vern) of Soldotna, Alaska, his nephews Gabriel Norman Clark of Livingston, Montana and Ezra Clark (Shauna) of Jacksonville, Florida, Lisa Vierling of Portland, Kara Vierling of Portland and Viera Mills of Soldotna. He is also survived by his Eugene family, Jim and Amber Husk.
Service will be held at Musgrove Family Mortuary, April 11th at 1:00 pm. There will be a private interment at a later date.
Musgrove Funeral Home, Eugene, is in charge of arrangements.
