Dennis Kerschner Obituary

WEST ALEXANDRIA — Dennis R. "Red" Kerschner, 67, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born Feb. 7, 1954 to the late Russell and Marie Kerschner.

In addition to his parents, Red was preceded in death by his wife, Linda; siblings, Barbara, Butch, Shirley, and James; and several nephews and one niece. He is survived by his sister and her husband, Carol and Dave Lock; brothers, Junior, Allan, and Mark Kerschner; special friend, Mary J. Howard; nieces, nephews, family, and friends; and his beloved dog, Zeus.

Red was the owner of Red's Auto Sales and loved to work on old cars. He enjoyed going to car shows and watching NASCAR. The family received friends Tuesday, March 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Preble Memory Gardens Funeral Center, 3377 U.S. Route 35 East, West Alexandria. Service was at 1 p.m. with burial following in Fairview Cemetery. The family would like to say thank you to the staff of Kettering Medical Center.
