MIAMISBURG — Leonard F "Fritz" and "Cap"Captain, 82, of Miamisburg, went home to be with Jesus, on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Eaton, on April 21, 1932, to the late, Oscar and Elsie (Davis) Captain. Fritz retired from Fraser Paper in 1995 after 35 years of service; and was a member of the Miamisburg Wesleyan Church and the NRA. He was an avid hunter; and enjoyed the Bengals, Reds, and following the grandkids' ball teams. His children and grandchildren were the joy of his life.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Roger Lee and five brothers, Harold, Ralph, Edwin, Don and John.
Fritz is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Loretta J. (Brandenburg) Captain; his children, Daniel Captain and Janel Ellenberger; six grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa, Crysta, Allison, Kelsey and Jacob; his great-grandson, Bransyn; his sister, Betty (Herb) Cressell; his sister-in-law, Betty Captain.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 12, at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of Ohio 4 and Weaver Rd., Germantown, with Pastor Jan Toft officiating. Burial was at Highland Cemetery.
