MARY LOUISE ROMANS Mary Louise Romans, 83, of Ohio County, Ind., passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Louise was born in Cincinnati on October 25, 1941, a daughter of the late Allene (Culver) Rogers and Gonza Rogers. Louise grew up in the Cincinnati community and attended school there. She later worked for several years in the finishing department for a woodworking and cabinetry firm in Cincinnati. She was the wife of Othel Scott Romans. Louise and Scott were married in 1964 and celebrated 60 years together until her passing. Louise enjoyed the outdoors and loved to go fishing. Louise is survived by her loving husband Scott Romans of Ohio County; by two sons, Gary "Tony" Wainscott of Cincinnati and Greg A. Wainscott of Sharonville, Ohio; stepdaughter, Jackie Leach of Colerain Twp, Ohio; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Louise is also survived by sister Mary Fultz of Cincinnati, and brother Eugene Culver of West Chester, Ohio. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Wainscott, her sister Juanita Dunaway and by two grandchildren. Funeral services were 1 p.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Markland Funeral Home in Rising Sun, Ind.. Visitation was held 12 to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 2 at Markland Funeral Home. Burial was at Cedar Hedge Cemetery in Rising Sun. Memorial donations may be made to American Heart Association. marklandfuneralhome.com.
