Nancy Whiteford Nugent, 84, of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 30, 1941, in Aurora, Indiana, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Liucthe) Whiteford.
Nancy attended Aurora High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Aurora. She had a passion for photography and enjoyed staying active, always embracing life to the fullest. Nancy deeply cherished her animals and treasured time spent with her family and friends. Alongside her husband, she was co-owner of Nugent Tractor Sales.
She is survived by her loving husband, Johnny Nugent; her daughter, Suzi (Kevin) Randall Anderson; her grandsons, Dylan (Jordyn) Randall and Kyle (Destiny) Randall; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Mike Whiteford; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Whiteford, and her brother, Robert Whiteford.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Fitch-Denney Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lawrenceburg Life Squad, PAWS of Dearborn County, or Shriners Hospitals for Children. Contributions may be made at the service or mailed to the funeral home.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fitch-Denney Funeral Home.
