Gerardo Strollo Sr. passed away on October 22, 2025, in Wolcott, Connecticut. Beloved husband to the late Maria D. Strollo; dear father of Sorrina (Robert J.) Salvatore, Cecilia, Gerardo, Jr., and Mario Strollo; dear grandfather of Brandon M.N. Strollo, fiancée (Elizabeth Phongsat) and son Jayden; dear brother of Lidia Plassa (Strollo), Angelo Strollo, and the late Michelina Chiafullo (Strollo), Italia Strollo, Alfredo Strollo, Giosina Cavallo (Strollo), Assunta McKenzie (Strollo) and Elvira Trotta (Strollo) and dear son of the late Angelo and Cecilia Strollo. Our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many. Visitation 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 15410 S. 5th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85045, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Entombment Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, AZ.
Services also will be available via Zoom for anyone unable to attend in person. A virtual collage will begin at 10:30 a.m. (Arizona time) – 12:30 p.m. (Connecticut time) followed by a memorial talk at 11:00 a.m. (Arizona time) - 1:00 p.m. (Connecticut time).

A man (an uncle of mine) devoted to his family and work. He left southern Italy during difficult times and, with hard work, sacrifice, and love, built a new life for himself as an immigrant in a new country. We will miss the honest and tenacious man that you were. We send our condolences to our dear cousins, the whole family, friends, and all those who loved him and will miss our dear Uncle Gerardo.
Un uomo (uno zio per me) dedito alla famiglia e al lavoro. Partito dal meridione d´Italia in anni difficili ha construito con fatica, sacrifici e amore la sua nuova vita da emigrante in un nuovo paese. Mancherà l´uomo onesto e tenace che eri. Condoglianze ai cari cugini, a tutta la famiglia, amici e alle persone che gli volevano bene a cui mancherà il caro Zio Gerardo.

We are so sorry for the loss of your dear Father. Gerardo was a dear friend to so many and we are so thankful that he entered our life. We look forward to greeting him back someday soon. We will all miss him very much.
For now we find peace in knowing that he is in the safety of our dear God Jehovah's perfect memory. May you find joy in knowing that he lived the best life ever and he & your dear Mother raised their beautiful family with love and they taught you all to love others as they loved you. I pray that you take comfort in your precious memories that will never leave you.

Our condolences to our Strollo family. Gerardo was our cousin always we always enjoyed our Italian dinners together he always made us feel very special We had lots of laughs And shared many stories about family. He will be missed.

I´m so sorry to hear of your father´s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of him growing up across the street from your family. I even remember to this day how to speak Italian and have my dog trained in Italian. Heaven gained an angel. Your dad was the hardest working man I ever met.

My heart is heavy because of Gerardo's passing. He was a good, generous, spiritual man who, like my own father, has left a legacy of love and good example for those who knew him.
I will always cherish our conversations in Italian about many subjects but especially the times we discussed Biblical teachings. Gerardo was determined to be Jehovah's servant until the end and he was. May he rest in peace until we see him again. I offer heartfelt condolences to his two sons Gerardo Jr. and Mario, and his two daughters Sorrina and Cecilia and the entire family. I will miss him.
