Joseph Bekasi Obituary
Joseph John Bekasi, 88, passed away on August 4, 2025, in Portland, ME. Born on July 6, 1937, in Torrington, he was a son to the late Joseph John Bekasi and Edna May Bekasi.
Joseph, affectionately known as Joe, was deeply religious and dedicated his life to sharing his faith, always striving to bring others closer to Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He was a graduate of Riverside School and Torrington High School, completing his education in 1959.
Professionally, Joseph served as a Credit Manager at Rhode Island Hospital, where he was respected for his diligence and integrity.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; his brother, John E. Bekasi of Torrington; his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter, all of Rhode Island. His strong family bonds and devout faith were central to his life.
In lieu of services, those who knew Joe remember his profound commitment to his faith and family. His legacy will continue to influence and inspire those who were fortunate to know him.
