Woodbury - Russell P. Damato, 74, of Woodbury, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness at St. Mary's Hospital on January 17, 2026. He was the devoted companion to Sherry Antoni for over 25 years. Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home has been trusted with his care and services will be held privately.

I am so very sorry to hear of Russ´s passing. I just learned of it today. My thoughts and prayers go out to Russ´s family and anyone who knew him. He was a wonderful neighbor, always walking his dog, saying hello to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed.
