Carlo married Martha Worner in 1985 and gained his two step daughters - Diane (Teri) of Fort Collins, CO and Kristen of Austin, TX. "Adopted nephew" NDSU student Malshantha Kankanamge ( Surangie) lived with them and became part of their family. Martha and Carlo moved to Loveland, CO in 2009. He was predeceased by his brother Thomas, sister Joan, and nephew Paul. He is survived by his wife, son, step-daughters, grandsons, nieces, nephew and their children, and cousins. In addition to being an architect Carlo was a home builder, a model builder, an inventor, an artist, and enjoyed being challenged to solve problems. Carlo also loved driving sports cars. He was driving a 2001 Corvette in 2018 at the time his memory problems meant that he could no longer drive. A family celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
