Celeste Wallace Obituary
Abilene, TX
Celeste Wallace, 49, of Abilene, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2016 in her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Southern Hills church of Christ chapel in Abilene, Texas.
Celeste was born December 9, 1967 in Wilmington, Delaware to Coral and Sue Wallace. She was a graduate of Abilene Christian University. Her greatest joy came from her role as mother to her daughter, Taylor. Before being beset with a number of health issues, she traveled the country, including as a member of the tall ship, Gazela. More recently, she would share her love for cooking and animals with those who knew her. She appreciated the many kindnesses of her Southern Hills church family and good friend, Debbie Hite.
Celeste is survived by her daughter, Taylor Wallace; mother and step-father, Sue and Ed Maynard; and siblings, Tom, J.D., Bob, and Jerry.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Southern Hills church of Christ. Arrangements with Girdner funeral home.
