Charlotte Kay Felix was born December 5, 1965, in Lubbock, Texas and was adopted by Dr. Charles and June Felix of Richardson, TX, later of Abilene. She passed away after a life time struggle with a medical condition. She was an active member of the Hope Church of Christ where she spent many hours providing support to the community.

She graduated from Abilene Christian High School in 1983 and attended Abilene Christian University. Her love for children prompted her to work at a day care center where she met the Compton family and became their nanny for years. She cared for many precious children during her life.

Charlotte was an accomplished craftsman, making lovely gifts for family and friends that they display proudly. She also made crafts to help in the support of Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, where she received many of her treatments.

She was preceded in death by her father Dr. Charles Felix and her grandparents Ralph and Vida Alsobrook and Stanley and Jennie Felix. She is survived by her mother, June Felix, of Abilene, TX, sister, Linda Wingenbach and husband, Ken, nephew Shawn Carroll and wife Tabitha and their children Kain and Rylee, all of Arlington, TX. Sister Lisa O'Connor and husband, Charles, their children Nicole Hafsaas and husband, Cory, Krystal and Victoria O'Connor all of Trophy Club, TX, and Chelsea Richardson of Tarleton State University. Her special friends Phillip Compton and his children, Angela (Compton) Lazzara, Brad and Chad Compton, her precious dog, Jusie, and many aunts, uncles and cousins

Charlotte lived her life to the fullest enjoying her family, friends and pets. Her strength and determination were an inspiration and her bright spirit will be greatly missed by all of the people whose lives she touched.
