Edward Gonzales Obituary
Abilene, TX
Edward "Silver" V. Gonzales III, 52, passed away, Wednesday, December 23, 2015. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. today at Northwest Church of Christ, 1102 N. Willis with Pastor Jessie Villareal officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.
Mr. Gonzales was born August 26, 1963 in Abilene, Texas to Edward and Esther Gonzales. He was employed by the City of Abilene for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Helen Gonzales of Abilene; two sons, Robert Guevara (Carolyn Ybarra) and Benjamin Guevara (Elizabeth) all of Abilene; one daughter, Elayna Guevara (Jarrod) of Abilene; three brothers, Gabriel Gonzales (Sherri Williams Gonzales) of Colorado City, David Gonzales (Michelle) of Abilene and Elias Gonzales (Genesis Gonzales) of Abilene; one sister, Teresa Gonzales (Ricardo Cisneros) of Abilene and five grandchildren.
Honored to be pallbearers will be Isaiah, David Jr., Elijah, Richard, Robert and Rudy.

Edward was a super guy who loved his family more than anything . I met Edward through becoming friends with his wife Mary and had several fun memories throughout the years . We will definitely miss this all around great guy . R.I.P. My Friend . Love & Prayers to Mary & the entire Gonzalez family . Debbie McCurdy

I was saddened to hear of my little cousin's passing away. I will always remember his sweet smile and easy going ways. By the way, his dad,was my first cousin. I am Carmen and Camilli Rosales eldest daughter.
