Sara Patricia Marie DuPont died unexpectedly at the young age of 23. She was born on December 14, 1987 in Houston, Texas. Sara ran track and graduated with honors from Hawley High School and later attended college at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and family (especially her nephews and her baby sister), and vibrantly filled every room she entered with joy and laughter. Sara lived an exciting life and always maximized the enjoyment of the moments that she had here with us. She was an incredible friend, a dedicated sister, and loving daughter and granddaughter.
Sara is survived by her mother, Julie Guerrero; her father, Fred DuPont; step-father Gilbert Guerrero; sisters, Meghan Smith and London Guerrero; step-sister Stacia Guerrero; grandparents, Barbara and Leo Froh, and MeeMaw J. Berta Walraven.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, February 4th between 6-8 PM at Elmwood Funeral Home located at 5750 Hwy 277 South. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 5th at Pioneer Drive Baptist Church, 701 South Pioneer Dr with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Sara was most definitely one of my closest friends. I am still trying to come to facts this is real. I will never forget her loving face and that beautiful smile she carried everywhere she went.
