Brother Troy was a wonderful pastor and friend. I suppose our church (First Baptist, Argyle) was his first to pastor. Oh how our family loved his little family. They only had Robert at the time and he was very young. He was still in Seminary and we had no parsonage at that time so different families invited them into their home for the afternoon. We loved it when mother and daddy invited them to our house. We would usually have fried chicken and garden vegetables. My sister and I took care of and played with Bobby all afternoon. They were such a wonderful family and we loved them so much. They both loved people and were so appreciative to be given a place to eat and stay until the evening services.

His wife, Kay, passed away while they were in Texarkana, TX. His current wife, Juanda, has been by his side through many health issues and has taken such excellent care of him, along with his son, James and his family. I’m so sorry for such a long post BUT, he is very special. Praying for rest and peace for his wife Juanda and his son James and their families. Brother Troy is in Heaven now in the sweet arms of his and our savior, Jesus Christ.
