Catherine Thompson Obituary
Ann was born in American Fork, Utah, November 11, 1933 to John L. And Faye Christensen Clarke.
She moved several times during her youth ending in Rexburg, Idaho where she attended Madison High School.
She fell in love with Peter Orlando Thompson III after a spin the bottle game at his house.
They were married in the Idaho Falls Temple October 11, 1951.
They were blessed with three wonderful children; Peter Jeffrey, Clarke Orlando, and Paula Ann. Their children were the joy and focus of their lives.
Ann held several church callings and served faithfully in each one.
Ann was a Champion bowler, an excellent housekeeper, a wonderful wife, mom, grandma (nana) and great grandmother.
She loved shopping. She loved her home. She loved the sun and watching the birds out her window.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband Peter O, son Clarke, grandson Tyler, brother John, and sister Renee.
She is survived by her son Jeff (Diane), daughter Paula Godby (Chris) and daughter-in-law Kristi (Clarke), 11 grandchildren and almost 28 great-grandchildren. She truly loved her family more than anything.
We want to thank Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg for their professional, loving, and kind care for Ann.
Funeral services will be Friday, March 28, 2025 (Peter O's birthday) 11:00 a.m. Viewing 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, Idaho.
