Janice McNee Obituary

Janice McNee 78, passed away peacefully at her home in St. Anthony, Nov. 27, 2012, from natural causes.
Janice was born Dec. 24, 1933, in Newdale, Idaho, the daughter of Lavell and Anita Schwendiman.
She grew up in Newdale, and went to Sugar City schools and took nurses training in Idaho Falls. She became a registered nurse and worked at the St. Anthony Fremont General Hospital for several years and then for District 7 Health Department, where she retired.
She married Dean McNee in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in l954. They were later divorced, but remained best friends.
She was a member of the LDS Church and served two missions, one with the Humanitarian Center in Idaho Falls and the other with the stake missionaries. She was a member of the Mello-daires for over 30 years.
She is survived by her ex-husband (best friend) Dean McNee, of Wilford, Idaho; children, Gary (Wendy) McNee, of Pocatello, Idaho, Roy McNee, Jane McCay and Joan (Rod) Schroeder, all of St. Anthony; siblings, Kent (DeAnna) Schwendiman, of Ucon, Idaho, Terry (Veva) Schwendiman, of Bountiful, Utah and Dorathory Klinger, of California; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Allen and a sister, Jean.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. in the St. Anthony LDS Stake Center with Bishop DelRay Davenport officiating. Friends may call at the Bidwell Funeral Home Fridayg from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and at the stake center Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
