Craig Wendell Bohmont

Reno - Craig Wendall Bohmont was born on January 5, 1952 in Laramie, Wyoming, parents of Dale Wendell Bohmont (deceased) and June Rains Bohmont (deceased) of Wheatland, Wyoming. Craig died on 23 December 2020 in Reno, Nevada. He is survived by his brother Dennis Edward Bohmont in Mitchell, South Dakota. Craig graduated from Sparks High School Sparks, Nevada in 1970. He attended the University of Nevada, Reno where he earned a B.S. and M.S. degree in Bio-chemistry. He was active in bicycling, camping, rock climbing, downhill, cross-country skiing, and hiking. Upon graduation he worked as a Bio-chemist for a silver mine outside of Warm Springs, Nevada. Craig moved to the Boston, Massecuites, where he worked as a Bio-Chemist on food preservative additives, where his name appears on several copyrights as one of the persons who worked on the product. While in the Boston area he continued to be an active bicyclist, hike and traveled around the New England area. The San Francisco, California Veteran's Administration Hospital put his skills as a Bio-chemist to work on Alzheimer research. While in the San Francisco area he continued his bicycling, hiking and skiing activities. He bicycled from Salt Lake City, Utah to Mount. Rushmore, South Dakota, camping as he went along the route while working at the V.A. When his mother, June Rains Bohmont needed a home care giver, he moved to Reno, Nevada. He kept up his love for bicycling, skiing, hiking and camping. Craig was a active volunteer with several A.A. groups in the Reno/Sparks area. Craig will be missed by all.
