Kathryn Anne Trimble

Reno - Kathryn Anne Trimble, born in San Francisco on November 8, 1948, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on April 6, 2018. Kathryn's greatest joy in life was her family. She was the beloved daughter of Gertrude Hulet. Kathryn is survived and adored by her brother Skip Hulet, her devoted husband Richard Jon Trimble, and her three children Julia, Gregory & Amy. She was the cherished Grammie to Sabrina, Wyatt, Grant, Braeden, Gabriel, Shane, Gavin & Waylon. She loved her step children Rick, Ted & Tom. She was the joyful Grandma Katie to Dustin, Derick, Kendall, Taelor, Teegan, Trevor, Jack & Joseph and Great Grandma Katie to Rhett, Khaleya, Kadence & Taya.

Kathryn graduated from Mercy High School in San Francisco, 1966, and was married to Frank James Garretson Jr. in 1969. For many years she delighted in raising her family and her career as a Radiologic Technologist in Santa Rosa.

On March 18, 1989, Kathryn and Richard married. Together they celebrated 29 years of marriage and 30 years of love. Kathryn and Richard retired to Reno in 2007.

Kathryn took pleasure in ocean cruising and traveling the US & Canada with Richard in their fifth wheel. She had a great love for the coast, open spaces & big skies. She loved dancing, laughing, playing games for hours with her grandchildren and welcomed each day with a fresh start. Kathryn had a strong faith and was a devoted member of her church. She found comfort in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She will be greatly missed.

Please join us in celebration of Kathryn's life. Services will be held Saturday April 14, 2018, 11am at Lady of the Snows Catholic Church 1138 Wright Street, Reno, NV 89509.
