Carol Trimble Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Arner Funeral Chapel - Chester on Mar. 15, 2026.
Carol Ann Trimble, 75, of New Cumberland, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the unwavering love of her family, on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Throughout her courageous battle with cancer, Carol inspired all who knew her with her grace and quiet strength.

Carol was the daughter of the late Bernard and Ruth Pickens Little, born in Steubenville on February 21, 1951.

Carol dedicated 28 years of service as a secretary at Weirton Steel's strip mill before her well-deserved retirement. A proud 1969 graduate of Oak Glen High School, she was an active member of the New Cumberland VFW Post 3526 and the Hookstown American Legion Post 952 Auxiliary, always giving her time and heart to her community.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Robert "Greg" Trimble; her cherished daughter, Susan (Steven) Dawson of Cincinnati; her beloved sister, Sandy (William) Eckenrod of New Cumberland; and two adored granddaughters, Kylie and Megan, who were the light of her life.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Carol's life at a visitation on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. A private interment will follow on Wednesday at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
