Kenneth Hooks Obituary
Carson City - Kenneth Hooks born August 18, 1939, in Missouri, passed away at his home Monday, November 26, 2018, from end stage cardiac disease. At his side were his beloved wife of 54 years, Emi Hooks, and his "brother," Charles Barry. He cheerfully greeted all those who came to visit him at his bedside. He spent Thanksgiving surrounded by his family. He and Emi raised their 4 children, first in California, then in Carson City, Nevada. Bill, Catherine Denise, Brian Keith, and Federico. He is survived by his wife, Emi, 3 of his 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and one great grandson as well as numerous friends whom he loved dearly. There will be a Celebration of His Life on Saturday, January 12, 2019, 10 am at Hope Church Las Vegas, 850 East Cactus Avenue. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hope Church or the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.
