Kevin Snow Obituary

Kevin

SNOW

August 10, 1967 - May 15, 2009

Kevin passed away on May 15th after a long battle with a brain tumor. His amazing will gave him the strength to go against the odds and survive nearly 12 years after his diagnosis.

He is survived by the three most important girls in his life, his wife Danielle, and daughters, Ashley and Kenna. He is also survived by his mother, Barbara Snow; brothers, Jim, Robert and Steve Snow as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dan Snow.

Kevin was born and raised in Reno, where his family instilled in him a love of the outdoors and the importance of being together with loved ones. He was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed camping and hunting. His diverse career included concrete work in the family business, construction, and fraud investigation.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Kevin's team at St. Mary's Hospice and all the nurses, aids and staff on the 4th floor at St. Mary's Hospital along with Dr. Katz and Dr. Levan, all of whom not only took care of Kevin during his last few weeks, but also took care of his family. A thank you also to Dr. Vacca, Dr. Abrass and Dr. Prados for their continual care over the last 12 years.

A celebration of life will be held at the Red Hawk Events Center at Wingfield Springs in Sparks on May 29, 2009 from 6-8 p.m.

Kevin was a truly wonderful person. He made me feel welcome to the Snow family from the moment I met him. No words can accurately express how very much he will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of being a part of his life. May we always remember and appreciate the gift we had in Kevin.

Kevin was a great and caring individual, with a great sense of humor. At least we had the chance to enjoy his company while he was here. He will be missed, and remembered fondly by us all.

I hadn't seen Kevin in many years, but will always remember him as a friendly, funny guy.
