Morgan loved people, each uniquely and in her own way. Anyone who met Morgan was changed in some way and their lives were never the same after.

A vigil service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, 1138 Wright Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 2 p.m., also at the church. Entombment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery. Sweet memories of Morgan detouring to visit kindergarten--she knew she was always welcome and she always put a smile on our faces.

Morgan had such determination and vivacity that she did more living in her brief time among us than many folks do over decades.

I hope it's a consolation to know how many people she touched. I will be holding you in my thoughts.

I always wonder why God takes back the people who teach me the most--especially before I'm finished learning!! Morgan was not overly verbal but she had a HUGE vocabulary as evidenced by the many, many people's lives she touched. She taught us to be patient, accepting, helpful, kind and to be true to ourselves! She taught us to see the humor in the little things. She also taught us simple, unconditional love that is the essence of life. My favorite memories are sitting with my "Bleacher Buddy" Morgie at Little League games at Swope cheering for Brady and Scoop and the rest of the Dodgers. She was always there to give the coaches and players hugs after the game and join in the "post-game wrap". We will remember what Morgan taught us by embracing life and giving HUGS more freely. Joe and Missy, thank you for sharing your angel with us! Her hugs and giggles will be missed and always remembered! Wendi, Rich, Betsy, Jacob "Scoop" and Greg Wait.
Love and Hugs to you all!

Missy, Joe, Shawn and Brady,

There are no words. My heart is breaking for you all. What a wonderful gift she was to all of us. I will truly miss her hugs and smiles. I was amazed today at my office meeting at how many people were talking about her. She has touched so many lives and you should be proud of how much you have to do with that. My thoughts and prayers are with you all daily.

Morgan's middle name truly fit her- Rose. She was a beautiful and unique flower and we all cherished our time with her. She loved to laugh and her laughter was contagious! She reminded us to take time to play and brought the child out in eash of us. She was so funny the way she would grab your hand and walk you over to someone and then leave...a born match maker. We are so sad to learn of her passing. We will plant a rose bush in our garden to honor our dear Morgan.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences. I was fortunate to know Morgan while volunteering at Roy Gomm Elementary. One of my favorite memories of her involved teaching her to sew quilt blocks on a sewing machine. Her eyes would light up and she would literally giggle with excitement every time she pushed the foot pedal. She was so proud of her perfectly pieced quilt blocks. She will be dearly missed and will always have a place in our hearts.

Dear Missy and Joe
Please accept my deepest condolensces. Morgan had such a huge personality that she will be missed tremendously. I remember having her come to my house and watching her rummage through all my drawers and closets. I feel that she will always be an icon at Roy Gomm Elementary School. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Missy and Joe,

We are so saddened about the death of your beautiful daughter Morgan. We wish we could find words that would relieve your pain, but we cannot imagine what they are. Losing a child is one of the saddest life experiences possible, and words of true comfort are difficult to find.

Please know that we are thinking of you in your sorrow. You have our sincere condolences.

In sympathy,

I so appreciate you sharing her with all of us!!! Your family has all shown us why the very special are given such a special gift, you are amazing. All though her time was too short I believe that God let us borrow one of his very special angels from heaven to teach everyone she met how to be a better person and friend. Again, thank you for sharing your gift with all of us we are all truly blessed to have had Morgan as a part of our lives.
