Nancy Simonetti, 66, with her husband by her side, went home to be with the lord Jesus, on November 17th, 2013 after battling lung and bone cancer. She is survived by her husband John of 48 years, her sister Joanne Scott, brothers James Flannagan and Ron Cotta, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Flannagan, her son Robert and her sister, Trisha.

Nancy was born in Los Angeles on July 12, 1947. She met her husband in April of 1965 and they were married August 6th, of 1965. They moved to Las Vegas in 1977 and both worked in hotels. They moved to Reno in 1990. Nancy was a Sunday School Teacher and also held Bible studies in their home. She loved her church and was involved in many church activities. She loved to cook and organize potlucks at her church.

A memorial service will be held this Saturday, November 23rd, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Sparks, 6255 Pyramid Highway, Sparks, Nevada at 10:00 am.

Nancy will be missed by all who knew her. May she now in rest in Jesus' loving arms until we are reunited with him in glory!
