Ray Warren Bryson

Carson City - Ray Warren Bryson passed away Sunday evening January 21, 2017 in Carson City, Nevada at 93 years of age. Ray was born to Conray Bryson and Ethel Marcie Bedsaul Bryson on 18 May 1924 in Bountiful, UT. Ray lived in Basin, Wyoming and Klamath Falls, Oregon in his youth. At age 18 Ray enlisted in the military and made it his career. After retirement from the Air Force he made his way to Battle Mountain, Nevada. During his time in Nevada he was a successful realtor. Ray was interested in serving others and ran for State Senate in the Northern Nevada Senate District in 1980. Ray was also active in the Lions Club. Ray was a licensed private pilot, enjoyed amateur ham radios, and playing cards with his sisters when he would visit them. Ray is survived by his sister Della Jordan of Walla Walla, WA and sister-in-law Bernice Marie Bryson of Temple, Texas. A graveside gathering will be held at Northern Nevada Veterans Cemetery where Ray will be interred on February 8th, 2018 at 1 PM. People wishing to attend are welcome to come and say goodbye.

He was very a great man. He will be missed by many. I shall never forget the times that we had when we visited him or he visited us. I will always love you Uncle Ray.
