Robert Allan Chambers born to Anne and Robert Chambers in Seattle, WA. lived in Seattle, So. CA, various Nevada locations including Reno and Spokane, WA. 1974 graduate of Brigham Young University, BA in Political Science Rob was a Navy corpsman in the Vietnam War. Later, Rob worked at the Vets Admin., Reno, in medical claims. Rob was an Elder and active in the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, He was a member of the St. Andrew's Society, Cameron Clan, Ham Radio groups, AFGE Labor Union, DAV, VVA, SAMS and because he was a descendent of Daniel Poorman, a private in the American Revolutionary War, the Sons of the American Revolution.

Robert was a people person and no one was a stranger. Among many close friends: Bart Daniels and Don Harmon (Reno area) and Dixie Magers and Sandy White (Utah) and Stan and Bev Wills of Sprague, WA. Rob married Patricia, his wife of three years in Virginia City, NV. He was also very dedicated and loving to his son, David of Reno, and stepdaughter Cindy of Honolulu, HI.

Rob died suddenly and unexpectedly at home December 31, 2009 leaving a large hole in many lives. He leaves behind his wife Patricia who loves him dearly, his son David of whom he was very proud , and lovely stepdaughter Cindy. as well as other family and many dear friends.

Memorial was held Tuesday, January 12, 2009 at the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, Spokane WA. Hennessey-Smith 2203 N. Division, Spokane, WA 99207 is in charge of arrangements and where flowers and cards may be sent. Prayers and good wishes are welcome.
