Came across your picture in dad's stuff. So I searched your name and found this. I will always remember all the great foods you taught me to fix. I wasn't a big fan of all the dead animals on the walls, but you always made up a story to make me not so scared. Thank you for taking me up on my first airplane ride and showing me the Sacramento River like I had never seen it before. While you are up there tell my mom & dad hi. Wish we had stayed in touch, but I know you had more to do than keep track of a little kid.

I remember comming home from school and asking my Grandmother Normal Mae Duvall his 3rd wife. Grandma how old are you? She replied 60. I was 6 and grandma was 60. The next day I came back from school and ask Grandpa the same question. He responded with " I'm so old, I saw Sitting Bull stand up!" So that year for his birthday I found a picture of Wild Bill Hichcock and Sitting Bull standing up next to each other.
I grew up at the Elks Lodge. I learned how to swim there. I learned how to become a lady and have grace. Thank you Grandpa for all my wonderful memories you have given me!

So enjoyed our daily visits in the lobby of the Sr. Home. He reminded so much of Dad both in looks, stories and friendliness. I remeber the times we had to make sure his "beverages" were locked in the room, so no-one would share without asking. Thank You for your service, Bob, and for the memories.
