One year today the world lost the sweetest soul. I'll never forget the 12 years before. Jack was my best friend and only person to ever make me feel they really loved me. Today and from now on I will cherish those 12 years of amazing memories so I never forget just how blessed I was to know a heart like his. One day I know I will be blessed to see him again!

Jack had a wonderful personality that was fun to be around and was a hard worker. As a baseball player at Rhea County, Jack was a pitcher with electric action. Back in those days, pitchers did not always recover from surgery, which Jack had prior to his senior year. He worked tirelessly and with determination to recover, and as a senior played a major role in the most successful team in school history. After graduation, Jack volunteered many hours to mentor younger baseball players and help prepare them for their high school careers and passed on his love of the game to them. He positively affected many of our lives and will always be loved by us.The Caldwell family has Gary, Johneece, and all friends and loved ones in our prayers.
