Timothy Davis Obituary

Timothy Michael Davis

Born: July 27, 1962 | Died: July 25, 2025

Timothy Michael Davis, 62, passed away peacefully at his residence in Dayton, TN, Friday, July 25, 2025. Son of Bennett Davis and Margie (Dillard) Lawson, born July 27, 1962, Tim made Rhea County his life-long home.

One of Tim's proudest accomplishments was his time in the US Army. A patriot through and through, he gained skills that would serve him well upon his return. Tim was known for his outstanding iron and welding abilities and secured his Certified Welder Certificate.

Preceding in death were his wife, Kathy Davis; Father, Bennett Davis; Step-Father, Odean Lawson.

Remaining to cherish his memory, and the many happy family times, are his four children, Jamie Crain, Amanda (JR) Brown, Michael Pettyjohn and NaTosha (Chris) Istre; siblings, Becky (Winford) Henderson, Jeremy (Mindy) Davis and Tim (Buffy) Brady. Also, the lights of his life, three grandchildren Jace Brown, Jocelyn and Jaylee Crain; two "fur babies," Snowflake and Barker. Additionally, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life, and tribute to his strong Christian faith and example, will be at Friendship Church on Sunday, August 17, 2025, 11:00 EST.

Tim leaves a legacy of being "straightforward" and his word being his bond. This was certainly a character trait his family would carry forward.
