Kim Owen Obituary

Kim J. Owen, 70, of St. Croix Falls WI formerly of Rice Lake, passed away on Sunday, February 5th 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center in Rice Lake surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on January 29th, 1953, to Milan and Lucille Owen.

Kim was an avid lover of everything that had to do with music.  He developed a strong love for classic country music and was a drummer for many bands throughout the years and even played opening acts for several famous performers.  He enjoyed playing cards, games and pool with his friends and family and also enjoyed telling riddles.  Kim was a kind soul with a great sense of humor and was always prepared with a good joke.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Milan and Lucille Owen; son, Lance; brother, Lonny; sister, Valerie; and former wife Shirley.

Kim will be missed by his soulmate Connie; sons, Christopher Owen and Brent (Lisa) Slesar; sisters, Carol Halpin, Sheila Lindloff, Tammy (Tom) Karnitz, April (Todd) Owen; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Kim's Life held at a later date.
