I will miss her beautiful photographs she called "days like no other", along with her activism and true caring about all people.
Although distance kept me from interacting personally face to face, I am blessed to have known her as an honorary BCWC sister. She truly touched my heart and I will never forget her. She lives on within all of us who had the privilege to have known her.

Denise was that spark of JOY that attracted the love of so many people. Her kindness and generosity was all but equaled by her honesty and boldness. The greatest friend any of us could dream of. Thank you Denise ! We were blessed with you & we will miss you with our whole hearts

Dear David, I am very saddened and shocked by Denise´s passing. She was a cherished colleague and friend. We laughed a lot. We kept in touch often on Facebook, up until a couple of weeks ago. I know how much she loved you and how much you loved her. May you find comfort in knowing that and the many memories you shared together. Sending love.

We both loved organic gardening, even though she was better at it than me!
