Katherine Vivian Obituary

Katherine "Kate" Vivian, a long-time resident of Saunderstown, died at home on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017. Born in 1938 in Asheville, NC, Kate moved to South County in 1965. For the last 20 years, she was the events coordinator at The Towers in Narragansett. She is survived by her sister Peggy Pennell, daughters Molly K. Sexton and Sara Widenhouse, as well as two grandsons, William Jerome Widenhouse and Sirus Widenhouse.  
Memorial contributions may be made to Friends of the Towers Music and Dance Program. THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD has been entrusted with arrangements, and there will be a celebration of Kate's life in the spring.
