Cecilia Uden JOSEPH Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Cecilia "Ce" Gwen Burr Uden, 83, passed away April 2, 203, in Richfield. She was born May 21, 1939, in Moab to Cecil Clyde and Elma Shumway Burr. She married Wilford George Uden June 9, 1963, in Denver, Colorado. The marriage was solemnized in the Mt. Timpanogos temple June 9, 2012. He preceded her in death April 29, 2003. Ce was a dedicated mother. She loved animals and baseball and coached soft ball for many years. She was an avid gardener and always serving others. She was a friend to many and loved by all. She worked as a certified dietitian, working at both Sevier Valley Hospital and American Fork Hospital. She is survived by her children, Deann (Richard) Ontiveros, St. Louis, Missouri; Dale (Anita) Uden, Joseph; Kirk (Cherilynn) Uden, Kaysville; stepson, Mark (Pam) Uden; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; and sister, Linda (Rudy) Bleggi, Elberta. She is also preceded in death by her parents; son, William "Bill" (Trina) Hancock; grandson, Michael Ontiveros; and stepdaughter, Sue Cole. Funeral services for Cecilia Gwen Burr Uden took place Saturday, April 8, in the Joseph ward chapel in Elsinore, with Bishop Tom Stephens conducting. A family prayer was shared by Dale Uden (son) and the invocation was given by Cherilynn Uden (daughter-in-law). The organist was Pam Gay, with chorister Rebecca Zufelt. Musical selections included congregational hymns of "Because I Have Been Given Much" and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again." Also, a selection of "Jealous of the Angels" was given by Brad Carter. A life sketch was given by Deann Ontiveros (daughter). Tributes were given by Ashlee Uden (granddaughter), Linda Bleggi (sister) and Kirk and Dale (sons) and Rock Hendry (friend). Closing remarks were provided by Bishop Stephens and the benediction was offered by Elizabeth Uden (granddaughter). Pallbearers included Dale Uden, Kirk Uden, Joshua Uden, Dillon Uden, Rico Ontiveros, Mark Ontiveros, Rock Hendry, Cody Hancock, Dedrick Hancock Honorary pallbearers included Jacob Uden, Richard Ontiveros, Adam Uden, Christopher Ontiveros, Michael Ontiveros, Blane Uden, Maddox Uden, Kaylee Hancock, Malory Hancock, Mindy Hancock Interment was in the Joseph Cemetery.
