Everyone loved Uncle Keith! He was kind, creative, faithful, hard-working, and an original thinker. He and I had such warm heart-felt conversations about family history. What amazing memories those McConnells had. Keith was my Mother´s little brother...and oh the stories these two shared about their childhoods! They loved each other - and each other´s families. As the last of his siblings to pass away, much is lost. It is now up to us, the aging children of that bygone generation, to keep those stories alive. Keith was a wonderful husband, a loving father/grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle. He was a self-trained carpenter, a man of faith, a political junkie, and a thousand other things. I miss him deeply.

Oh dad, I'm missing you so. On my drive home yesterday I kept waiting for my phone to ring so you could check and see how far I was and that everything was going ok. I saw a huge bull elk in the road gust up the canyon from Vale thank goodness for the semi I was following he flashed his brakes a few times so I was going slow. The elk just stood there in the other lane looking at me as I passed. I sure wanted to take a picture and send it to you I started to call you to yell you wow. Im so honored to have been able to be with you and mom when you passed. You would have been honored and embarrassed for the fallen solider walk at the VA. I miss you and mom so much. I thought this visit home would be a quiet one to just get to see everyone boy was I wrong. Love you dad, big hugs to you, mom, Kjeld and Michael. I'm so thankful we made it to the Temple to be sealed for all eternity, that means the world to me. I'll live my life so I can be with you all some day. We will all be ok in time. Love Kathy and Bill and Carrie she sure misses her daddy.

Many memories of Uncle Keith. My most vivid memorie of him was when he showed me his cowboy equipment his chaps.spers his hat of when he would go to rodeos. I was so impressed. But what I told most dear in my heart about Uncle Keith is that he was there to talk to us and guide us specially after my Daddy passed away almost six years ago. Uncle Keith became my father figure after Daddy passed. I will miss our talks and reminiscing over the phone about times gone bye. Your body is gone but as long as my heart beats you will continue to live. Till meet on the other side someday. Give Daddy a hug and a kiss from all of us tell him we miss him and still love him.

Dad I already miss our phone calls, long chats and your jokes. I miss you so much. I would give anything to get one more phone call from you. I would ask you to tell me all of your stories again and again. I love you dad.
