Paul Newman With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and son. Paul Allen Newman, 73, Annabella, passed away of natural causes at home Oct. 2, 2023. He was born in Blue Rapids, Kansas, Nov. 1, 1950, to Ralph Albert and Vina Jenetta Schilling Newman. He married Terri Lynn Olsen Nov. 23, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Paul was a devoted and honorable man who served his country in the Navy on the USS Midway during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed camping dancing working and above all spending time with his family. His passions included his wife, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the open road. Truck driving took him all over the country where he never met a stranger. His positive attitude, and mighty laugh could lift even the most down spirited. His integrity, hard work, and giving nature inspired us all. He will be sorely missed. Paul is survived by his wife; children, Richard (Sierra) Newman, Virginia; Danny (Wendy) Newman, Provo; Carrie Newman, Orem; Kevin (Lindsey) Newman, Salt Lake City; Jason Moody, Salt Lake City; Melanie (Brandon) Bergener, Billings, Montana; William (Rachel) Moody, Annabella; and Tyler (Kristy) Ringlee, Arizona; 24 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sand siblings, Marilyn (Charles) Land, Ralph (Betty) Newman; Marie (Lawrence) Dalrymple, and Rosemary (Rodger) Roecke. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Paul Newman Jr.; and sister, Betty Newman. Cremation services will be held in the Magleby Mortuary Cremation Center. A family and friends' luncheon and get-together will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, at 11 a.m. in the Annabella 2nd ward cultural hall. Scattering of ashes will take place afterwards.
