RALPH OKERLUND Funeral services for Ralph Ole Okerlund were held Monday, October 14, 2024 in the Monroe Stake Center with Bishop Kirk Thornock conducting. The family prayer was offered by Stuart Hepworth. The organist was Karen Christiansen and chorister Christi Okerlund. Invocation was offered by Robert Worley, followed by a piano solo by Brian Barton, "Nearer, My God, To Thee". Speakers included: Russell Okerlund and Justin Okerlund; and memories of grandpa by grandchildren. Tiffany Brindley and Shannon Hepworth offered tributes followed by Robyn Mills singing, "Love Remains", accompanied by Lynnette Peterson. More speakers included: Kirt Nilsson, Jerry Stevenson, and Stuart Adams, followed by remarks by Bishop Kirk Thornock. A congregational hymn, "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" followed by the benediction by Bransen Jackson. Last call by the Monroe City Fire Department. Dedication of the Grave was offered by Ster Brindley. Interment in the Monroe City Cemetery.
