Kenneth Chew Obituary
The son of the late Robert and Constance Chew of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., he was a graduate of Jefferson High School in New Jersey. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by a son, Kerry Chew, and wife, Darlene (Cooper).
Ken worked most of his life in forestry and tree care and was an avid fisherman and musician.
Ken is survived by his sisters, Saundra Pennamacoor (Louis) of Florida and Robin Barker (Steve) of Pennsylvania; his brother, Robert "Bobby" Chew
(Stephanie) of Florida; his son, Ken Chew Jr. (Ashley) of Florida; daughter, Jessica Massey (Kevin) of Maryland; stepson, Michael Doyle
(Erica) of New Jersey; three grandchildren, Courtney, Kevin and Sarah; a fourth grandchild, a girl, is expected in July; three nieces, eight nephews, several grand-nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and other family and friends.
Memorial services will be at a later date for family and friends in Florida and New Jersey.
Memorial contributions can be made to Marion County Senior Services (1101 SW 20th Ct, Ocala, FL 34471) or Alpine Health & Rehabilitation Center
(3456 21st Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33711).
Arrangements are being handled by A Life Tribute Funeral Care in Gulfport, FL.

Our 61 ford van broke down entering grand canyon park the summer of 1970. Kenny and Pete worked on it at the gc garage then we traded them the van for their 57 gmc school bus.
