John Beasley Obituary

John Robert "Bobby" Beasley passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at his residence in Harriman.
Bobby was raised in Rhea County and attended Rhea Central High School. He is a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the 101st Airborne in Vietnam. He retired from Y-12 Oak Ridge after 30 years. Bobby attended Liberty Baptist Church, Kingston. He loved the Lord and his family, especially his three grandkids. He loved working on classic and antique cars and enjoyed taking unplanned road trips with his car friends in old cars. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Beasley.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Janie Alley Beasley, Harriman; sons, Bo Beasley (Elizabeth), West Bloomfield, Mich., and Bubba Beasley (Nancy), Woodstock, Ga.; grandchildren, Spencer Beasley, West Bloomfield, and Hayden and Adair Beasley, Woodstock; brother, Leroy Beasley (Jewell), Spring City; sister-in-law, Gale Sheppard, Johnson City; nieces and nephews, Brenda Hill (Ray), Dayton, Mike Beasley, Cookeville, Carrie Sheppard, Johnson City, Sarah Bahner (Jared), Austin, Texas, Dale Jolley, Knoxville, and several great-nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to Camilla Home Health and Caris Hospice.
Graveside service will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Griffis at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Spring City Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home, Dayton.
