Peggy Kirk Obituary
A private service for the family will be held in Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, the morning of Wednesday, May 22. Floral arrangements may be sent to either Evans Mortuary or her home.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy, Billy and Jack Boyd; one sister, Virginia Ann Bowling; and her parents, Orton and Clara Belle Boyd.
She leaves behind one sister, Carolyn Matthews, Norfolk, Va.; sons, Jeffery Kirk and wife Lisa, Round Rock, Texas, Rickey Kirk and wife Becky; and daughter, Joni Mitchell and husband Kendall, all of Rockwood. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Miranda and Gunnar Mitchell and Hollie Kirk, Rockwood, and Ashley and Emily Kirk, Round Rock; and her favorite great-granddaughter, Jaycie Mitchell, Rockwood. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. "Gone from our home, but not from our hearts," the family said.
