Audrey Arrietta Hostetter

Audrey Arrietta Hostetter, 82, of Lexington, died Wednesday, August 9, 2006 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Hostetter was born in Rockbridge County on October 2, 1923 and was a daughter of the late James Columbus Hostetter and Sadie Elizabeth Reynolds Hostetter. She was a member of Faith Mountain Baptist Church and was preceded in death by three brothers, Grant Hostetter, Paul Hostetter, Orson Hostetter; one sister, Leola Covill; a greatgranddaughter, Shanell Clark; and a son-in-law, Rawlin Clingempeel. She is survived by three daughters, Brenda Clingempeel of Lynchburg; Carol Nair and husband, Herb of Lexington; and Vicki Hostetter of Goshen; two sons, Jerry Hostetter of New Jersey; and Elvin Jay Hostetter and wife, Donna of Lexington; two brothers, Carl Linden Hostetter of Lexington and Clyde Burton Hostetter of South Carolina; two sisters, Opal Hostetter Shafer and Agnes Hostetter Campbell, both of Lexington; 19 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Pastor Louis Dodd officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, August 11, 2006 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
