What wonderful memories I have of Barbara. She had confidence in me when I didn't. She made me smile when I couldn't. She encouraged me to continue painting when I stopped. I have a special painting on my wall that would not be there now if it had not been for Barbara. I'll never forget all the good times and laughs in Barbara's art class in Christiansburg, VA. I do have one regret and that is I never continued like she so many times prompted me too. You will be missed by so many friends, students and the community of Christiansburg,VA. My thoughts are with Barbara's family.

Barbara had quite an impact on the art community in Christiansburg. I remember showing with her at the restored old freight station in Cambria. Many local people were her students.
May her family be comforted and may she rest in peace.

We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your Beloved Barbara. She will always live on in your heart as she does ours. There are no words that could truely express what she means to us...
We Love her Dearly...
Barbara graced us with her beauty, not only in her art, but in her soul. She was beautiful inside and out. Barbara was a shining light, with eyes that sparkled. You could see and feel the love, caring and compassion in them. Sometimes, you could even see a little bit of mischief. She made us smile. She made us laugh...
Having Barbara in our lives was a true blessing, a gift. It is one that we will always treasure...

Barbara, you believed in Joel and he now believes in himself. You were an inspiration to us in so many ways and a fairy godmother to me. You were magical, just like your paintings... You are a living treasure to our family, my parents, our community, and all those lives you touched and were blessed by having you in them.
Your legacy will live on forever and ever. We will Love You forever and ever...
With our Deepest Love, Gratitude, and Heartfelt feelings,
Karen, Erik, and Joel

I remember the pleasant times we had in art class. Not only will I remember you for the beautiful person that you were, but you will be with me every day in the two pieces of your art that hang in my living room. Soar with the angels!
