To The Family.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences at Brian's passing. We worked together during what many considered Roanoke's Rennasaince under the leadership of the late Mayor Noel C. Taylor and City Manager's Bern Ewert and W. Robert Herbert. Brain was the mastermind behind many of the City's economic renewal strategies at that time and I learned a great deal from him. I am thankful that we got to know eachother as work collegues and friends. I have fond memories of "that Roanoke" and Brian definately had a part in making it happen.
With appreciation for his life and legacy.
