Carlos Browning Obituary

Carlos Dale Browning, 36, of Floyd, Va., passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2008. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Ray Browning and Myrtle McQuire; and a cousin, Charlotte Troutt. He is survived by his wife, Carole Browning; his precious children, Christina Browning, Christopher Browning, Cathleen Browning, and Celena Browning; parents, Gratton and Diane Browning; sister and brother-in-law, Vicky and Eddie Belcher; maternal grandparents, Irvin and Gaye Sowers; uncles and aunts, Michael and Lona Sowers, Carolyn Troutt, Levi Browning, Zetta and Donnie Lovern, Myra and Junior Smith; and many cherished cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008, at Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Josh Kilbourne and the Rev. Zetta Davis-Lovern officiating. Interment will follow at Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home, Floyd, Va.

You may or may not remember me, we went to Tuggles Gap Baptist with you all. I was shocked to hear of Dale's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I am sure he will be missed greatly! I went to school with Dale at Floyd E and the high school. He was fun to be around. Your family will be in my prayers.
