Mr. Case was our neighbor for the many years he lived here. Always a quiet, cheerful & intelligent man. We had no idea until reading about him, that he was so dedicated to service in this community through education and his church. He never talked about himself. That was a unique quality that made Mr. Case all the more special. We will miss him.

(Major) Dennis Case was my writing instructor the year (1966) that I was a day student at SMA. I could'nt write a paragraph before taking his class. After, I could write essays, stories and in general express my thoughts on paper. His teaching was a great influence on me. I have great memories of his class and of the man.

Dennis Case was a true gentleman and scholar. As an English teacher at Staunton Military Academy, he touched and influenced many young men in their study of the language and literature. As an administrator, there was no one better. As a mentor, he took very seriously the responsibility of influencing young people. He will be missed by all he touched, as a teacher and as a friend. God forever bless his memory and his life.
