I was a child when I met Doris,she and my mother,Mary Fields McGhee were friends as teenagers and for many years when living in Virginia. My mom died in 1990 so I know they are talking about old times. God Bless Them.

There isn't enough room to write about all the fond memories I have of my Godmother. She (and Joe) were so good to me throughout my entire life. Doris was one of the kindest people I have ever known and she will be terribly missed.
