Mrs. Gertrude W. Harris departed her earthly life to be with the Lord on Friday, October 24, 2025. He called her home after granting her 101 years of life.
A public viewing will be held Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home & Crematory. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2025, at Loudon Avenue Christian Church. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Bethel A.M.E. Church (Cave Spring) or Good Samaritan Hospice in honor/memory of Gertrude W. Harris.
