April 22, 1965 - June 16, 2025
Janet Saunders Harris, 60, of Vinton, Va., went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Saunders; and her brother, Edwin "David" Saunders.
She is survived by her father, Edwin "Ed" Saunders; her daughter, Whitney Witt (Brian); her sons, Josh Harris (Jessica) and Taylor Harris (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Britin, Gracelyn, Makenzie, Stevie, Max, Autumn, Paisley, Piper, Holden, and Bentley; and cousin, Jimmy Jones.
The family will receive friends for a celebration of Janet's life at Barnhardt Baptist Church, 1033 Brittle St., Stewartsville, Va. 24095, on Sunday, June 29, 2025, with visitation at 12:15 p.m., and a service to follow at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, 5211 W. Broad St., Richmond, Va. 23230. Condolences may be shared with her family at www.Oakeys.com.

Grew up with Janet and her brother David,they lived on Pechin and I lived on Penmar,both her and her well raised kids,so sad to see of her passing and also I didn't know her brother passed away,so sad of this news,may God be with your family during this difficult time
