Joan Stanley Davis, age 82, of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Sunday August 24, 2025 at her home.
Joan was born in Galax, Va. on December 28, 1942 to Leon and Shirley Stanley. In additon to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Richard William Davis, II.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Annette Elliott of Blacksburg, Va.; Joanne and Virgil Dillon of Floyd, Va.; Maria and Aris Kyriakides of Covington, La.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and father of the children Richard William Davis.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Dick Gilbert officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
